Ms. Morris is the Academic Coordinator (Counselor) for Buffalo Lower Junior High.  She serves as the 504 Coordinator, ESL Coordinator, Campus Testing Coordinator, and GT Coordinator for the lower junior high campus. Ms. Morris is a 34-year veteran educator for BISD.  Her resume includes Academic Services Coordinator for Buffalo High, nine years; High School English, 21 years; Junior High English, Reading, and Computer Literacy, 8 years; and First Grade, one year.  Ms. Morris was the Bison Belle director for 22 years, and the High School cheerleader sponsor for 5 years.  She has coached UIL academic events at both the junior high and high school level.  She is a member of the DEIC committee and has served on various other committees during her tenure at BISD.

Ms. Morris graduated from Texas A&M University in 1985, with a B. S. degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1996, with a M. Ed. in Secondary Education with Mid-Management Administration Certification. 

My goal is to help all students become the best versions of themselves that they can be, to become productive citizens, and to be kind to all people.
